November 30, 2019 Laura Forsythe Métis Inclusion Coordinator from the University of Manitoba, with the assistance of Heather Souter of Prairies to Woodlands Indigenous Language Revitalization Circle, staged a Michif language gathering. The event brought speakers of the language from all over Manitoba together to discuss the health of the language. What steps could be taken to preserve the language? As well as ideas on how to grow the language.
