Inuit Bachelor of Education

Kyle Smith has Sylvia Moore describe the Inuit Bachelor of Education program at Memorial University offered in partnership with the Nunatsiavut Government in Newfoundland-Labrador

The Inuit Bachelor of Education program is a community-based teacher education program in Happy Valley-Goose Bay NL. It is a partnership between the Nunatsiavut Government and Memorial University. The program began in 2014 and is for Nunatsiavut beneficiaries. Sylvia Moore, Faculty Head, describes the program.

Please note: The quality of the audio and video in each interview on NCCIE.CA may vary. NCCIE has been a capacity- and skills-building project for students and youth. They have been "learning-through-doing," learning how to arrange and conduct interviews while, at the same time, gaining experience with the technology.
