Pictou Landing First Nation School, Mount Saint Vincent University, and Maritime Museum of the Atlantic ran a pilot program called Building Boats, Changing Lives with grade 5/6 students at Pictou Landing First Nation School to enable students to achieve provincial mathematical curricular outcomes through the building of two Bevin’s skiffs.
