Building Boats, Changing Lives

 

Pictou Landing First Nation School, Mount Saint Vincent University, and Maritime Museum of the Atlantic ran a pilot program called Building Boats, Changing Lives with grade 5/6 students at Pictou Landing First Nation School to enable students to achieve provincial mathematical curricular outcomes through the building of two Bevin’s skiffs.  For more information, visit the museum website at: https://maritimemuseum.novascotia.ca/what-see-do/building-boats-changing-lives.
