This film presents highlights from NCCIE’s Atlantic Regional Workshop, which took place in St. John’s, Newfoundland, in November 2018. Participants discuss the importance of Indigenous languages and the land to Indigenous education.
We respectfully acknowledge the territory on which this workshop took place as the ancestral homelands of the Beothuk, and the island of Newfoundland as the ancestral homelands of the Mi’kmaq and Beothuk.
