In this digital forum, the question "What is Land-Based Learning?" was explored by three panelists from across the country. It aired on Facebook Live in January 2020.
Moderator: Dustin Brass, First Nations University of Canada
We respectfully acknowledge the original lands of the Indigenous Peoples of Treaty 4 where this digital forum was held: Cree, Saulteaux, Nakota, Dakota, Lakota and Treaty 6: Cree, Saulteaux, Dene, and Dakota. We also respectfully acknowledge the original lands of the panelists, who are from Pic River First Nation and Fredericton, New Brunswick, which is situated in the unceded and unsurrendered Wolastoqey/Mi'kmaq/Peskotomuhkati territory. As well, we acknowledge the homeland to many winged, four-legged, crawling, and water creatures.
