This document aims to guide the strategic actions across all levels of the provincial education sector in support of these strategies: First Nations and Métis languages and cultures are valued and supported; equitable opportunities and outcomes for First Nations and Métis learners; shared management of the provincial education system; culturally appropriate and authentic assessment measures; all learners have knowledge of First Nations and Métis worldviews.
