Charles Gaffney is the creator of the Aboriginal Visual Arts program at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The focus of this post-secondary program is to celebrate Indigenous entrepreneurship and support a traditional and cultural resurgence of Indigenous arts and crafts in the Atlantic region. The program is primarily focused on the traditions and cultural knowledge of the Maliseet and Mi’kmaq Peoples across the province.
