Jessica Housty works with the Qqs Project Society in Bella Bella, British Columbia. The different programs she talks about that are offered by Qqs Project Society are land-based and include language immersion, family camps, gardening, research, and monitoring. All programming is out-on-the-land and delivered with a holistic lens. While the primary focus is for youth ages 8-15, their family camps are multi-generational. Each camp runs about six days and includes support from Heiltsuk Elders and experts.
