The Southern Labrador Family Centers have six locations on the southeast coast of Labrador. Susanna Rumbolt describes the “Our Labrador” program, which supports families with activities teaching traditional and cultural knowledge and enhancing cultural identity. The program is for children ages 3-12 and provides hands-on learning of traditional crafts, games, art, music, and cooking. Elders are integrally involved in sharing knowledge and stories, teaching their traditions.
