The author looks at Indigenous children’s narrative structure in Nipissing First Nation (Ontario) in partnership with the Nipissing First Nation Education Committee and Elder’s in the area. The study incorporated four Elders from the area along with eight children whose ages ranged from 8 to 10 years old. Children participated in circle work where they were able to share their own stories. Elders use a code scoring sheet to attach to each story.
