A Yukon Elementary First Nation Language teacher collaborates with colleagues to embed First Nations ways of knowing and doing into her classroom and throughout the school. By focussing on building relationships with students & families, visually displaying First Nations’ language and pictures and creating a circle environment for student meetings her students feel more comfortable and develop a sense of pride in who they are.
